What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing offers a place for soft awareness whilst the body can deeply rest.
In a world that constantly demands our attention, one of the greatest gifts of a Sound Bath is permission to simply lie down, close your eyes and receive.
Vibration is fundamental to nature; everything in existence is vibrating at some frequency. Sound is simply vibration travelling through a medium.
Modern research suggests that sound-based practices can help shift the nervous system toward a more relaxed state, supporting reduced stress, lower heart rate, decreased muscle tension, improved sleep quality and an overall enhanced sense of wellbeing. Many people also report greater mental clarity, emotional release and a deeper connection with themselves.
Humans have been using sound therapeutically for thousands of years. Chanting, drumming, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs and other vocal practices like Kirtan. In the Yoga world there exists Nada Yoga – which uses sound, internal and external, as a meditative bridge to focus the awareness and reach higher levels of consciousness.
Think about the last film that made you laugh, cry or sit on the edge of your seat. The soundtrack wasn't just background noise for entertainment value. It was intentionally crafted to influence your physiological and emotional state in real time.
Sound Healing works with this same principle. As the mind becomes quieter and the body softens, the nervous system has an opportunity to shift from "doing" into "being". This creates the conditions needed for deep rest, recovery and regeneration – homeostasis.

Group Sound Bath
Deep Rest, Relaxation and Restoration
Join Krissi and Drew as they guide you through a deeply relaxing Sound Journey, creating space to slow down, rest, and reconnect with the rhythms of nature.
Using Tibetan singing bowls, percussion instruments and gentle layers of sound, this immersive experience invites you to soften, unwind and simply receive.
Come as you are, with the option to bring any mats, blankets or cushions for added cosiness.
There is nothing you need to do. The sounds offer an anchor for your awareness, gently supporting the body to soften and the mind to settle.
As the vibrations move through the space, you may find yourself drifting into a meditative state of deep rest, where tension releases and the nervous system has space to reset.
You are invited to simply be – to rest, receive and be nourished by sound, held in stillness.

Sound Therapy
Tibetan bowls on the body for deeply regenerative healing
Private Sound Healing, therapeutic session - ranging from 60 to 90 minutes and can include a mixture of an individual sound bath, aura cleanse and on-body sound therapy.
The connection of the bowls and the body allows for a much deeper transmission of resonance and vibration - to allow the body to find its natural rhythm's once more.
Cacao Ceremony, Breathwork, Meditation or Yoga Nidra may also add to this private session to give you a deeper sense of grounding.
Yin Yoga Sound Journey with Live Handpan and Ceremonial Cacao -
Deep rest
Friday 11th September @The Old Print Works Birmingham, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Join Krissi & Drew for a soul-nourishing evening as we gently begin to transition into the changing of seasons, creating space to slow down & soften into deep rest.
Accompanied by the meditative tones of live Handpan, we’ll explore the introspective stillness of Yin Yoga postures, supported by gentle embodied movement & relaxing breathwork whilst journeying with the heart-opening energies of ceremonial Cacao.
Cacao Ceremony
We begin the journey by drinking some ceremonial Cacao together, setting intentions and connecting with the beautiful & delicious plant medicine.
Cacao has been used in ceremony for thousands of years by Indigenous cultures to support spiritual connection. It is a beautiful heart-opening medicine, which can help in releasing emotional blockages and aiding emotional healing.
You will be guided into a gentle breathwork and somatic meditation exercise to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting a deep sense of grounding and calm.
Yin Yoga
Whilst being bathed in the soothing sounds of the Handpan, will settle into a series of deep, releasing yin postures, allowing the body to soften, the mind to quieten & our spirit to fully surrender into deep rest.
Yin yoga is a deeply meditative practice that invites us to delve deep into our inner world. This grounding session explores stillness and motion, stimulating energy flow & restoring the nervous system, allowing tension to ease and stress to melt away.
By holding floor-based poses for minutes at a time, we’ll be targeting the fascia, ligaments and tendons to increase flexibility throughout the body, enhancing our range of motion and aiding our Musculoskeletal system in creating space for better posture.
Guided Meditation
You will be guided into a relaxing meditation, connecting with breath and body.
Here you are invited to explore your inner world, processing any emotions, visions or insights that came up for you during the workshop. This is a opportunity for deep relaxation, release and rejuvenation.
You are welcome to bring your journal to record your insights and reflections.
*Not suitable for Pregnant Women
The Session will take place at the Sound School, on the top floor of the Old Printworks in Moseley.
Please arrive 10 minutes early.
